Welcome to Mrs. Harley's
School Counseling Page!
Hello! My name is Carrie Harley. This is my second year working as the counselor at Bloomington Elementary School. I graduated from Brigham Young University with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology in 2018, and I recently completed my Master's degree in School Counseling at the University of Utah in 2021. As a school counselor, I lead your students in social and emotional learning. I do this by teaching bi-monthly guidance lessons, running skills-based counseling groups, and meeting with students on an individual basis. Learn more about my role and how to refer a student by clicking on the "my role" tab at the top of this page!

"Elementary school counselors have an impact on [the elementary] years by implementing a school counseling program and collaborating with school staff, parents and the community to create a safe and respectful learning environment. By providing education, prevention, early identification and intervention, elementary school counselors help their students achieve academic success, develop an understanding of career opportunities and develop social/ emotional skills in response to issues they face."
